Hydraulic top link
The hydraulic top link is a conventional double-acting hydraulic cylinder with welded mounting connections between the tractor and the tractor attachment. Hydraulic drawbars are corrosion protected by galvanizing. All hydraulic drawbars also have a valve block installed, which serves for safety (in case of damage to the hydraulic hose, the drawbar cylinder remains in the same place, consequently also the tractor connection). The block valve also serves to ensure that the hoses are not under pressure and thus does not load the hydraulic valve on the tractor due to vibrations while driving.
Three most common types:
- standard top link
(has a welded eye bearing on both sides)
- automatic top link with hook
(the piston rod has an automatic quick-release ball hook for the tractor attachment)
- special top link with hook
(it is an automatic drawbar, which has a special hook welded on the cylinder instead of an eye bearing, which enables the bigger movement of the drawbar in the left or right direction),
Use:
Hydraulic top links or hydraulic drawbars are increasingly indispensable for any tractor, especially for plows, where precise plow adjustment is possible. Or planing boards for snow and earth, where it is possible to perform the inclination of the board with a hydraulic pull. It is especially useful in tractor forklifts where it is used for tilting or at plateaus even for dumping cargo.
